Another fine day for cricket saw the St Lukes team out in the countryside at a quite decent pitch (not influenced by the teas, which were excellent, by the way) with a rather fast outfield.

After winning the toss and sending in the other team to bat, they started well but only managed 109, thanks to the excellent bowling and fielding by St Lukes.

After tea;  James and Zamir opened rather slowly and by the 30th over it looked like we would win easily. Then disaster struck, wickets started falling, a couple of ducks to be had, one golden and very few runs made. Then Bob entered the field, lashed a couple of fours and clinched a victory for us (whew) last man standing!
